Founded as a wholly owned subsidiary of Farmers and Mechanics Mutual Insurance Company of West Virginia, we bring together hometown values and the strength of top-rated carriers. In addition to F&M, we represent several national and regional insurance companies — giving our clients access to affordable home, auto, farm, and business insurance in WV and surrounding states.


In January 2023, Quad State grew stronger by acquiring the respected Hartley Insurance Agency in Kingwood, WV. Known for outstanding service and deep community ties, the Hartley team continues to serve local families and businesses as part of our agency, carrying on that legacy of trust and personal attention.
